ABOUT

Hey there!  I am so glad you have joined me.  I'm Allison, a sinner saved by grace and admittedly one mistake makin mess! I am learning to walk  with a heart and attitude of reckless abandon in obedience to the one who saved me...and boy what a journey it is.  I pray that this will be a place that you will find encouragement that comes with truth that is seasoned with lots of grace.  My heart's desire is that this is where you find a little insight and hopefully a little wisdom from my chaotic life. I am not a professional counselor, pastor, or anything of the like.  Just a southern girl who has life has been redeemed by the only one who is able!

Me
I am the daughter of an indescribable God! I am passionate about sharing a God that heals the broken hearted and is desperate to reveal Himself to His creation. I am a writer, the Outreach Director at Seacoast Church, and the Executive Director of MAIA, an organization dedicated to the advocacy of single moms and their children.

My Family

I am the wife to an incredibly amazing man who unselfishly, without hesitation took on an instant family.
Never did I imagine that one man could give of himself so unselfishly but in his desire to be more like Christ, he did just that.  He openly confesses that without Christ, it would not have been possible.  He is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he is perfect for us! He is without a doubt my hero!

Our Beautiful Chaos!

I am also mom to three great boys and one precious pup who balances the feminine influence in our home. Regardless of their sweet smiles, radiant personalities and handsome statures they are sinners just like the rest of us.  They have taught me more about life and love than any other experience I have encountered.  God never ceases to amaze me how he will use my children to shape my character!

Bless you on your journey and I hope that you will continue with me on mine!
